Board of Supervisors Approves Supervisor Wagner’s $10,000 Allocation to Villa Park High School’s Every 15 Minutes Program
SANTA ANA, CA – At the March 25 Board meeting, the Board of Supervisors unanimously approved Supervisor Don Wagner’s allocation of $10,000 of Third District discretionary funds to support Villa Park High School’s Every 15 Minutes program.
Every 15 Minutes is an educational program that Villa Park High School has implemented to educate its students about the dangers of impaired driving. It has already secured a $10,000 grant from the California Highway Patrol to cover half the program’s cost. Supervisor Wagner’s funding will provide the remaining amount needed to fully implement the program.
“Every 15 Minutes is a powerful educational program that teaches high school students about the dangers of drinking and driving,” said Supervisor Wagner. “This initiative encourages students to make responsible and informed decisions regarding impaired driving, and I am proud to fill the funding gap to support this vitally important program.”
Supervisor Wagner’s decision to support this initiative reflects his continued support for investing in the safety and well-being of our community’s youth and will ensure that over 1,000 students receive critical education on DUI prevention.
