Statement from Chairman Don Wagner Pertaining Future of District 1 Constituent Services Following Supervisor Andrew Do’s Resignation
Orange County, CA – Today, Supervisor Andrew Do resigned as Supervisor for District 1 on the Orange County Board of Supervisors. During periods of vacancy on the Board of Supervisors, the office of the Chairman is tasked with assuring continuity of services for district residents until a new supervisor takes office.
“In light of this vacancy, it is the responsibility of my office to oversee District 1 in this interim period until the winner of next month’s election takes office,” said Chairman Wagner. “The business of the county will continue to get done, and the residents of District 1 will not be left without vital county services. I have ensured that the office will be staffed in this interim period and will oversee its operations as provided by law.”
Chairman Wagner remains committed to prioritizing the needs of District 1 residents during this transition, ensuring that vital services continue without interruption.
