Supervisor Wagner Congratulates New Chairman and Vice Chair
SANTA ANA, CA – At the Tuesday, January 14 Board of Supervisors meeting, the Board elected its new Chairman and Vice Chair, continuing its annual requirement of electing a new Board Chair and Vice Chair from among the elected Supervisors.
Vice Chairman Doug Chaffee was elected to succeed outgoing Chairman Don Wagner as the new Chairman for 2025, while Supervisor Katrina Foley was elected to serve as Vice Chair.
“It has been an honor to serve as Chairman of the Board of Supervisors for the last two years, a feat that most who serve on this Board aren’t afforded,” said Supervisor Wagner. “I am happy to pass the torch to Supervisor Chaffee, who has been a steadfast and supportive partner amid all the challenges and successes we have had over the past year. While my time as Chairman has come to an end, I will continue serving on this Board for the next four years, representing the interests of the people of the Third District, who re-elected me last year by a resounding margin. I cherish their confidence and continued support.”
Chairman Wagner wishes Chairman Chaffee and Vice Chair Foley all the best in leading Orange County in 2025. “I pledge to be a steadfast partner with them as we work together for the good if the entire county,” added Wagner.
